1.
TOP GLASS
- remove it by
opening the machines main door and carefully lifting the old glass
holder up and out of the cabinet frame. Replace with new top glass.
2.
REEL GLASS
- to
remove the old piece you will need to remove the florescent lamp bulb
and then removing the florescent fixture screws and finally the fixture
itself. Once the fixture is removed you should be able to grab the old
reel glass on both sides and carefully pull it out of the lower holder
and replace it with the new
glass.
3.
BELLY GLASS
- is replaced by locating the glass door release knob which is located
on the main machine door. Simply pull the knob straight out and flip the
frame of the lower glass assembly down. Remove the small screws (up to 4
of them) from the light and glass holder and carefully slide the old
glass out of the machine. When installing the new glass be sure that it
is right side up when the assembly is closed before tightening the
screws that hold it in place.
4. REEL
STRIPS - each
of our 6 piece kits come with 3 reel strips and each one has a number on
the bottom of the strip, the strips must be placed on the correct reel
basket (lower number placed on the left reel basket and so on), so be
sure to match them up correctly to ensure your game will work properly.
The reel strips have small notches cut in them near the bottom. There is
also a matching notch on each reel basket. The notches on both the reel
strips and the reel baskets must be installed so that their notches are
aligned in the correct positions in their reel baskets.
The easiest way to locate the notches in
the reel baskets is to place a reel strip into the left side groove of
the reel basket that it is to be installed into and hold the strip at a
45 degree angle to the basket with one hand and use the other hand to
rotate the reel basket slowly until you feel it catch on the notch.
Then, proceed to roll the strip around the back side of the reel basket
and as you do tuck both sides into the grooves of the reel basket until
you come back around to where you started.
At this time you want to make sure
that the end of the reel strip overlaps the other end of the strip and
that they are seated together with clear scotch tape to secure the strip
to itself. If you did this correctly, you will not be able to see the
notches in the strips after you are finished and the reel should spin
straight and true. numbers on the bottoms or
back sides of the strips so that they are installed in the correct reel.
